Mindfulness is a state of being that keeps your attention focused on this present moment. It requires a conscious attitude about your thoughts, your emotions, and your behaviors. In a state of mindfulness, one realizes that the past is gone forever and the future is not yet here.
The only thing that is tangible is what is happening to us in the here and now. We know about the past, but we don’t go there and linger. We know about and prepare for the future, but we don’t obsess, worry, or fret.
Furthermore, we know that we are creating a better future by focusing on our awareness of this very minute of our life.
